Funny Google Ads

We have all seen various instance of horribly placed ads or unrelated Google Adwords or other advertising. Irony? Advertising for Smarter.com.

4 JP October 7, 2008 at 3:14 am: Maybe one of those clients that sells the ole “buy a jersey get a cell phone” promotional offers? Maybe not Probably more likely a designer who was doing too many things at once or using an old ad as a template.

I once had a prospective client that provided accounting services to small businesses and also had a side business selling fire extinguishers. I tried to recommend separating these into two different businesses, or at least different websites. They didn’t go for that idea. Last I checked, the homepage was sort of a splash page with a big photo for accounting services on the left, and fire extinguishers on the right. Let’s focus people… focus.
